Dwayne nodded his head in agreement. “Yeah… I know.” Then he looks out the front window at the sun, which is about halfway down the horizon and dropping fast. “But that’s not really what I meant. We started this trip over a year ago. I’ve had lots of time to think about how I ended up here.” He sits back again and takes another long sip of Scotch. He could feel the old emotions starting to rise – fueled by the post-trauma stress and the alcohol. “It’s not my bad judgment and bad decisions that I’m talking about.”
Marshall raises his eyebrows at him, as the cigar tip glows bright red sticking out the corner of his mouth.
Dwayne sees his interest is piqued, and even though he doesn’t know what Marshall’s political inclination is, he decides to forge ahead anyway.
“It was actually the President that I’m talking about – well, the last one. The one who screwed up the Katrina disaster.”
Now Marshall is interested. He had his own experiences with that particular man. And they weren’t good. “How so?”
“I was the lead attorney that won the class action suit against the government. I did that by showing that the President made bad judgments and decisions during that crisis.”
“I remember hearing about that. But I was always wondering how that worked. I mean, a couple of thousand people died, but how’d you get a jury to find him responsible for that?”
Dwayne takes a long puff and slowly exhales. “I didn’t. The settlement went to the victims of Katrina. All of them from every state got some. But lawsuit was over the Port of New Orleans – not the people”
This caused Marshall to stop for a moment. “The Port?”
Dwayne smiles a little. Nobody thought he had a chance with the lawsuit. And then he won the massive settlement. Then the legal pundits chimed in. And their conclusion was: his strategy truly was a stroke of genius.
Jay-L confronts the President again….

“The main memory core is starting to erase. He’s shutting down the whole system! We’re locked out.”
Director Martin runs over to the nearest console and starts typing in codes. Nothing he does is helping. The Vice President turns to the group of Generals standing behind them.
“Get me a military team and find that prick—”
The alarm sounds again. This time it goes for almost ten seconds. When it stops, Jay-L is already talking.
“Mr. President. You’d better get a hold of your Fat Little Penguin—”
“Who the hell do you think you are telling me what to do?” The President was getting angry now.
“I’ll tell you who I am. I’m the man who controls your future right now.” Jay-L slightly raises his volume. “So let me repeat myself. You better get your evil little side-kick under control right now… And here’s why. You signed a legal Treaty with a Sovereign Nation to give you the ability to spy on every other country in the world. If you break that contract, then I’ll take back the computer and everything on it, which is what I’m doing right now.” Then he leans in really close to the camera again. “But if you attempt to stop me from executing my legal rights under this Treaty, or if you attempt to come after me or my computer… then I will consider that an act of war!”
Marshall and Dwayne have a scotch and a cigar on the boat…

“Sir, do not attempt to cross the moat…
“I can hear him just fine!” The President of the University of Miami informs the brightly colored Guard. Then he yells past him toward Jay-L. “Mr. Farnsworth, I am over this nonsense and I’m not going to stand for this anymore…”
The President starts walking toward the shallow black concrete trench with the sparkles in it. He didn’t notice the solid stone sentry columns that sat every ten meters around the perimeter of the Research Park.
But they notice him.
The sphere shaped top of the two sentry columns that were flanking the area that the angry University President was approaching, swing silently toward their prey. They have long since locked onto the moving target. As the president crosses the bright Yellow line that was painted on the street where the University property abuts the former Golf Community, the lasers in the Sentry heads fire a silent and invisible set of beams across the path directly in front of the Head Administrator of the adjacent University.
President John Smitt freezes in his tracks. The high-energy laser beams are hitting a few feet away from him inside the shallow ditch made of a special energy absorbing concrete. It is actually the purpose of the special moat that now surrounds the entire perimeter of the once beautiful and exclusive country club golf course. The lasers make a crackling sound as the nano-material absorbs the laser energy and re-directs it as static charge. As a thin sheet of smoke begins to form above the sparkling concrete, the normally invisible lasers form a perfect X a short distance in front of the wide-eyed President’s feet. The entire surface surrounding the twin laser impact zone is now electrified with enough static Tazer charge to even impress the Orange County Florida Sheriff’s Office.
But that’s 300 miles north of here. In Orlando.
They are in Miami – or Coral Gables actually…

Now as Luke and Marshall made their way to the bottom corridor of the vessel, Luke chatted casually. “Those folding berths in the guest quarters look an awful lot like the sleeping berths on a nuclear submarine. Did you know that?”
“Let me guess, more Military Channel?” Marshall was thinking that somebody at the Pentagon ought to check out those guys over at the Military Channel. There seems to be way too much information leaking out of the cable television sets in the country – information that used to take the lives of spies to obtain. And now it seems you could just set your TIVO and become a military expert – well almost.
Luke just laughs. “You should check it out. You’d be surprised what kind of information is floating around out there.” The door to the hyperbaric chamber was still latched open against the side bulkhead. Luke went in first. “I’ll set down the sleeping cots from the wall. We can put the kids on them and keep their IV’s on the latch above the bed.” He stopped a little past the panel that Marshall had used to control the hyperbaric oxygen and lower the pressure.
Marshall stops and turns around as he bends over to set the chamber for the same setting they had earlier. He starts to tell Luke what he is doing – he’ll show him which knobs, too. “OK, I’ll set the gas mixture. Almost pure oxygen and half atmospheric pressure, right?” Marshall turns back around and looks up to show Luke what he’s doing. He didn’t see Luke standing there, like he expected. What he saw was Luke opening the door at the far end of the long radiation shielded pressure tube. Before Marshall can react, Luke has the door open. Marshall jumps up and sprints to the other end of the chamber. He’s cursing himself for not putting a lock on this pressure door as well. It had never seemed necessary. Anyone inside had already passed the keypad security. And anyone coming from the other direction would—
He didn’t have time to finish his thought. Before he can reach him, Luke jumps into the room on the other side of the door. Marshall gets to the door in time to see Luke stand up from the seven step leap. Luke was standing on a platform over another small flight of stairs that went down to the bottom of the boat. Where there should have been a pair of gigantic diesel engines, there were instead…

Yes Marissé had managed to make friends. Marissé had managed to stay innocent. Marissé had managed not to get married, and pregnant, and hidden away by some greedy man wanting to horde her beauty. Marissé had also managed to get a high school degree – and a scholarship to the University of Miami. When she would enter the University as a Freshman, she knew immediately what she would do – and where she would go – and what she would study– and what degree she would have when she left this amazing place of knowledge that she’d now entered.
What she did not know was how to get along with all of the spoiled rotten American jerks that surrounded her now in this brand new University life-experience. But the scholarship included and paid for a dorm room, and she was going to take advantage of it. Even though her mother still lived in the city. And even though she could have found a way to take the public transportation system to and from class, both her and her mother decided the smartest thing for her to do – would be to live in the dorm. No distractions from home – or the old neighborhood – would interfere with her studies. However, neither of them considered what it would be like to find a room-mate. Not just a room-mate, but a room-mate that would be capable of tolerating Marissé. And more importantly, a room-mate that Marissé would NOT kill.
Marissé’s flair for personal temper and her well known abilities to defend herself quickly became the source of legend among the Freshman Coed Dorm. Her room-mates for the first two months of the semester, flowed in and out of her room like a breeze from the Atlantic. It was actually quite humorous. There were two weeks where the number of days in the week equaled the number of room-mates she went through. The Dormitory Monitors didn’t have a clue what was happening. No one who wanted out of the room would say anything – other than they had to leave – and they had to leave now. And that’s all that they would say…

The fat-boy-with-braces was sure the adults here were stupid. It was the children who were the ones who felt like they were in charge. The adults who were at the testing facility never felt like they were in control of anything. They never had any idea what the hell was going on around them. Most of them were just baby-sitters with side-arms. They were not teachers or educators – mostly just test monitors. There were no verbal questions or clarifications that would be asked during these tests – by anyone. And the layers of secrecy surrounding the program made sure nobody on the staff talked among themselves. The only consistent factor became the kids. Certain kids stuck around. Most of the others did not. Kids who stuck around got to be known. They kept coming back for more and more tests. And this particular testing facility was one of the few that had The Legend show up at it. And he did it on a pretty regular basis. At least that’s what the fat-boy-with-braces had heard. And that’s all that anybody really did when it came to The Legend – hear things.
The Legend only came in by himself. And rarely did anyone else get to see him. He always tested alone – always. Nobody else was ever even allowed in the room with him. The fat-boy-with-braces had spoken to a girl at lunch on the last testing day a week ago, who said she had seen him after a test session. She said he looked like he’d been at the beach. This caused the small group of kids at the lunch table to gasp quietly while everyone eaves-dropped on the girl’s story. The gasps were because the tests that all of the students had been taking over the months they had been coming here – were very hard tests. Even the kids in this cafeteria, who have all passed the tests, did not fly through them. They took effort, and studying – if you were trying to do well on them.
But not The Legend…
It was only stories – but the stories were amazing. He’d never missed a question. Nobody had ever scored a perfect score on so many exams. Nobody has ever gotten close to his scores. He finishes in half the time. He takes the test in pen. He never checks his answers. And he never talks – to anyone – ever.
The rumors were all true. This is why the CIA does not employ children.

The show was temporarily pulled off of iTunes featured front page in the Podcast Literature section. I accidently forgot to include the new iTunes tag for the Literature section when I updated the feed on Sunday evening (to comment on being put on the iTunes front page featured section of the Literature Podcasts). When iTunes cycled through on Monday evening, the show no longer had the iTunes tag and was pulled off of the Literature featured page. It was kinda dumb on my part 
But I have fixed it, and the audio book reading of the Ancients of Eden is now back on the iTunes featured page. In fact, we have moved up to position 11 (wooo hooo!). And for those who have asked how to quickly get to the iTunes Literature Podcast section, the easiest way is to press the “Subscribe with iTunes” button below. That will take you to the Planet TV Network page in iTunes. While you are there, you can leave a comment or review by pressing the “Write a Review” link on the lower right hand part of the page and following the prompts. New Logo from my amazing wife

Wow! I couldn’t get them uploaded fast enough
Hey everyone,
It is hard to believe but since I posted the first chapter on Friday evening, about 20-30K of you all showed up at iTunes. The Planet TV Show audio book podcast of “The Ancients of Eden” has been moved to the front page featured section of the iTunes Arts-Literature podcast page. We are featured with the Harry Potter podcasts and the podio books of Scott Sigler (a well known podcast author).
Thank you. I am both humbled and amazed at the audience response to this, my first novel. I hope you continue to download the audiobook… and I hope that my story weaving and telling is entertaining to you. That is why I am doing this. I am a story teller. I’m practicing for when I start telling stories to my son (which should be soon now).

Fact Sheet for The Ancients of Eden
Virtually everything in the story is factual.
1) The Earth’s magnetosphere.
a) There is in fact a hole in the Earth’s magnetic field (magnetosphere). It is an area of reduced magnetic protection from the Sun’s rays. The amount of reduction is not constant. In fact its size is not constant either… It’s getting bigger…
b) It’s currently located over the South Atlantic ocean and is called the South Atlantic Anomaly. It’s also moving slowly to the northwest. Which is heading toward the Caribbean… and the United States after that if it keeps on its heading…
c) Some scientists believe the magnetic anomaly is the possible side-effect of an imminent geomagnetic reversal (a flipping reversal of the north and south poles). Many computer models show that this is possible… Some scientists believe it might be an indication of imminent collapse as well… Some computer models tend to agree…
d) Not really a rare event on the geologic scale, the magnetic field has reversed many times before… and we have no idea what happens when it does. Or how long the reversal may last. Or how long the process of reversal may take. Or much more about it… at all…
e) Some computer models show that the field might collapse completely during a reversal and the duration of this collapse is also unknown. It could be minutes… or hours… or centuries…
f) Nobody knows what causes a reversal… but some scientists have speculated that the Sun may be involved in the process in some way. Solar wind and Cosmic rays interract directly with the Earth’s magnetic field. Even from 93 million miles away.
g) The magnetic field keeps deadly radiation off the planet surface and without it, no living creature could survive for long… even in the normal sunlight. Almost nothing in the Animal Kingdom, from bacteria to insects to anything with legs could survive in direct unfiltered sunlight. The Plant Kingdom would not fare much better. Even the rocks would complain after a while…
h) A small planet-wide reduction in the shielding effectiveness of our magnetic field will cause a relative massive amount of radiation to hit the living creatures on the Earth’s surface… from normal Sunlight. The radiation dose from a partially filtered Solar Storm would be like Hell on Earth. The radiation from an unfiltered Solar Storm would be like the inside of a massive microwave oven… on extra, extra high power…
2) The Sun
a) Our Solar parent does in fact go through cycles of activity. The Sun doesn’t know what an Earth year is… What we call cycles may only be regular rhythms as fast as a heartbeat to our Star. The natural pulses of the mechanics behind a fusion furnace… are a bit beyond our range of understanding at this time…
b) We do know that every eleven years, the Sun has a period of increased activity and these cycles vary in intensity. Solar storms and Solar flares are increased during these times.
c) The cycles of intensity also seem to follow certain rhythm and timing cycles. Sometimes the cycles are less intense. And sometimes the cycles are more intense. So far there does not seem to me a pattern to these cycles. Which could mean that the range of intensities that we know about could be only a portion of the range of intensity. The only way the intensity of these cyclical storms can change is to increase. These rhythmic cycles are much longer.
d) Sunspot and solar storm activity release enormous and deadly waves of Solar Cosmic Radiation that pummel the planets in the Solar System. These waves of radiation do not lose any of their deadly punch by the time they make their eight and a half minute trip to Earth. The radiation can kill members of the Space Station if they are directly exposed to them for any length of time. They also play havoc on satellites and can destroy equipment.
e) The Sun also reverses its own internal magnetic field like clockwork every eleven years. The reversal occurs exactly at the peak of the Sunspot activity eleven year cycle. Although we do not know the mechanics of it, we know that they are connected.
f) The magnetic field of the Sun is the seed field of the magnetic field for every planetary body in the Solar system… including Earth. We do not understand enough of the nuances and nature of interstellar geo-astro-magnetics to even guess the nature of the Sun’s interaction with the Earth’s magnetic field.
g) We know the Sun has cycles that last for decades. More detailed analysis of historical records have suggested that it might have subtle cycles and rhythms that last centuries. The Sun could have cycles that last for more than a few thousand years, but we would have no way of knowing. We haven’t been paying attention that long.
h) The effects of these long term cycles could last for hours, decades or centuries. If the effects last only in the hundred to two hundred year range or less, we would have no way of knowing… because the geologic record may not be sensitive enough to pick up these geologically short aberrations. Humans don’t live by the geologic time scale. Two hundred years is eight to twelve human generations.
3) The bottom of the Atlantic seabed.
a) There really is a gigantic hole in the bottom of the Atlantic seabed floor. It also really is located between Africa and the Caribbean, which is the closest point between the continents. And the point where island chains are reaching out from the mainlands.
b) It was only discovered in March of 2007 and is currently being explored by scientists using remote submersibles. It is larger than the island of Jamaica, and it could be much bigger as more of it is uncovered. It hasn’t been discovered before because it is very deep.
c) At this deep hole under the Atlantic Ocean, the Earth’s mantle is in direct contact with the sea. This is a new phenomenon to geologic science. No where else on Earth is this seen other than in active volcanoes. And this is not a volcano. Nor is it a result of tectonic activity. At least not any kind we have ever seen before… Anywhere… Ever…
d) This is such a strange and unique phenomenon, we have no scientific explanation, or even an IDEA, of what caused it, or how it was formed. We also don’t know when it formed. Or what’s underneath it. Or anything scientifically useful at all… really…
e) Atlantic based weather patterns from before about 100,000 years ago, patterns that had existed for millennia, seem to have changed some time after that. Starting about 70,000 years ago, they have not been the same since. And we’re not talking Global Warming. Or Atlantis…
4) Quantum computers and components.
a) A true quantum computer would be the most powerful computer ever developed. It would faster and more powerful than all of the computers ever created by man added together… and it would not be a close race.
c) A quantum computer could crack any known code almost instantly and a quantum computer could encrypt a code that could never be broken… even with another quantum computer. Quantum encoded data is the ultimate in digital security theory.
d) Currently carbon 13 crystals (Diamond) are the leading candidate for the development of quantum computer components. Quantum computers and quantum computing technology will become the only real development being pursued by any major player in the computing field in the next twenty years to fifty years. Only quantum computers.
e) A quantum computer can accurately model anything from the sub-atomic to the astronomic. Quantum computing memory devices will be able to hold astronomic amounts of data in very little physical space. Compared to current technology, the storage capacity would be virtually infinite.
f) A quantum computer would be required to run a nano-manufacturing operation because of the complexity of working with the physical numbers of actual components involved in molecular and atomic operations. It would also take a quantum computer to even figure out how to run a manufacturing operation in the realm of the quantum universe, which governs the behavior of many, if not all, things at the atomic level. It’s no better at the molecular level.
g) A quantum computer is NOT science fiction. It’s the next step in computing and it is currently being hotly pursued by everyone in the experimental computing business. It is not a question of “if” technology like this will exist… It’s a question of “when”… This is the Jurassic Park of Computing Technology.
5) Nano devices and nano manufacturing
a) Nano devices are most easily built from carbon (graphite) and Nano devices are more easily controlled externally by electro-magnetics rather than by any type of internal or built-in hive-mind… or collective-mind artificial intelligence.
b) Nano devices could be used to manufacture or build virtually anything, and they will build it atom and molecule at a time. It is such a radical disruptive technology that it has the potential to completely redefine fields that cannot even be imagined at this moment.
c) When we reach the nano-manufacturing stage of development, we could build everything out of crystal diamond… because carbon is prevalent and cheap. The finished product can be formed into virtually anything with the added benefit that it is also virtually indestructible.
d) Nano capacitor batteries could theoretically hold a charge for years. Nano-technologies could change the concept of power storage devices. Nano-techniques will revolutionize how we manufacture all future electronic devices… as we are able to build functionality into the actual molecular make-up of the electronic devices. Everything will be an electronic device…
e) Nano devices will someday be used to repair damage to a human body at the cellular level… fast. Nano devices will someday eliminate the field of surgery. This is not a prediction. It is a fact. The field of Medicine will change very soon as we begin to master the art of controlling remote devices inside the human body in real-time.
f) Nano devices are also NOT science fiction. It’s the next step in both Manufacturing and Materials Science and it’s currently being hotly pursued by a large and varied array of research institutions and businesses. The number of Industries affected by Nano-Technology is much more easily calculated by counting the number of Industries that will NOT be able to use the science. It also is not a question of “if” technology like this will exist… It’s a question of “when”… This is the Jurassic Park of Manufacturing and Materials Science. It is also the “Fantastic Journey” modernized if you consider what nano-technology could offer to the Medical field.
6) Modern Humans
a) Modern humans, identical to ourselves genetically but shorter and hairier, evolved 200,000 years ago in the Interglacial period two full cycles back. Not much changed until about 30,000 years ago.
b) From about 150,000 years ago until about 70,000 years ago, we have almost no fossil evidence showing what happened to our ancestors. By almost nothing, we actually mean nothing… nada… zilch…
c) We are the only primate with a pale variation that is not from albinism. Some scientist believe that our pale coloration must be from some extended period living in the dark in our distant past.
d) Oddly, our pale variation is very strongly represented in the genes. Modern mixing of racial variations has not eliminated the trait in the same manner as if it were a typical recessive variant to a standardized modern gene pool. It acts like an ancient trait.
e) We are the only primate that is virtually hairless over its body. And our body hair is not like other primates. We are also the only primate that seems to be evolving into a less hairy version of ourselves over time.
f) We are the only primate that has subcutaneous fat (under the skin, the kind that makes us look fat). Except in captivity, no primates get obese either… but that is a different book.
g) Some scientists have theorized that our ancestors must have been forced to fish from shallow seas in the past. This would account for the loss of hair and the layer of blubber (like whales and dolphins developed when they went back into the water).
h) It would only take a small increase in human infertility rates, spread over a few hundred years, to create a decline in population that could threaten extinction. This has happened before… it could happen again. Nothing within our technological capabilities could stop it either. Our success rate at treating infertility… sucks.
i) The most sensitive parts of the body to radiation damage are the eyes. The second most sensitive parts are the reproductive gonads. Even relatively small doses of radiation can affect humans. The younger the child, the worse the effects of radiation. Reproductive tissue and embryonic cells can be completely destroyed in a matter of minutes. They can irreversibly damaged in seconds.
7) Pyramids
a) It is currently theorized that the internal blocks of the Egyptian pyramids were not quarried, but were in fact poured using an old-world natural concrete recipe that is indistinguishable from real stone except by nano-scopic material analysis.
b) Recent nano-scopic material analysis of the Egyptian pyramids has confirmed the presence of nano particles that are not natural. This is an indication that the pyramids were at least partially poured using a form of limestone concrete.
c) Central and South American pyramids are now being discovered that are bigger than the great pyramids of Egypt. They were hidden for eons because they were so large and overgrown that they appeared to be mountains. There are too many of these false-mountains to count.
d) These mountain pyramids are made from layers of pyramids that are built on top of each other. Even today, the vast majority of these pyramids have never been completely and professionally explored by archeologists. Almost all of them are still mistaken for mountains.
e) Some have speculated that the ages of these pyramids could be quite older than traditional belief holds. This is due to the number of layers in some of the biggest of these mountain sized pyramids covered with jungle. We have no way to test this hypothesis yet.
f) Contrary to what Egyptologist may try to say, no one really knows for certain why primitive humans built pyramids… anywhere… for any reason… No other structures on Earth took as much effort, by primitive people, to assemble the resources and manpower to build.
Fusion power and magnetic recharging
a) Nano techniques will be used to create fusion generation devices because we will be able to handle individual atoms. It will be necessary to use Nano-technology to develop the actual structural materials needed to attempt any type of fusion energy generation on a scale that is usable. Undiscovered alloys may help the process.
b) Quantum computers will be necessary to have fusion energy devices because the complex harmonics necessary to hold stable reaction are outside the capabilities of modern computational power.
c) Magnetics are currently theorized to be the most likely method that we will use to control and contain a fusion reaction. It will take a quantum computer to handle to complex magnetic containment issues of large scale fusion power, as well.
d) It is completely within the realm of possibility to create a device that could send an electromagnetic pulse charge into the Earth’s interior via a volcanic ore vent. Fusion would be the best energy source for such a device.
e) The results of such a pulse charge cannot accurately be calculated without the aid of a quantum computer. Its effect on the internal magnetic field would also require a quantum computer to predict.
9) The Topa mega-volcano explosion
a) The Topa explosion occurred over 75,000 years ago almost exactly on the opposite side of the planet from the Caribbean. After-shock type volcanic eruptions continued on the Pacific rim “Ring of Fire” for over three years after the initial nuclear bomb level eruption.
b) The ash from the blast and the fires it started for thousands of miles in every direction, blocked out the Sun for several decades. All vegetation died. The light never got over a dark dusk just after night-fall. Rain didn’t clear the sky. But it did cover the ground with acid rain that would have killed any vegetation that tried to sprout. Nothing would try for over forty years.
c) The massive explosion was larger than all the nuclear bombs in the world combined, and caused the wide-spread extinction of almost everything larger than a mouse. It caused the immediate extinction of everything in a two hundred mile radius. Everyone else suffered.
d) It is believed to be responsible for the “bottle-neck” event in which the human population was reduced to between 1,500 and 2,000 individuals world-wide. These were not all in the same place. They were isolated small bands that were spread around the globe in areas that had the least damage from the volcanic ash and debris fallout.
e) Using DNA analysis, scientist have determined that ALL modern humans are genetically related to one of these “bottle-neck” survivors.
10) Miscellaneous coincidences of fact.
a) The NASA “Highway-in-the-Sky” computer air-traffic control system actually exists. It is scheduled to take effect in the next few years. It uses GPS satellite data to guide aircraft. Concerns over the ability to locate any plane at any moment is a major security issue with the new system.
b) Most new aircraft and all new jets come with “glass cockpits” and are “fly-by-wire”… which means the aircraft is actually controlled and flown by onboard computers, not actual hydraulics or cables. Joysticks are often employed now instead of actual steering wheels. These systems are designed to be managed and flown by computer during most of the airborne travel. Although not technically feasible yet, it is anticipated that computers will someday take-off and land aircraft more safely and dependably than human pilots.
c) There really is an island somewhere in the Caribbean that the CIA built a hidden airstrip on… and they used it in the early days of the Drug War. Lucian refuses to disclose the actual location.
d) The ancient Olmec Meso-American people really did make concave iron mirrors and amazingly engineered fire-proof flumes in the jungle. And it is true that not one scientist today can tell you how they did it or why. No one also has any idea why the Olmec ALONE are the undisputed masters of Art in the ancient New World. No other people after them equalled the level of workmanship and artistry as did the people known now as the Olmec.
e) In addition to complex writing and sophisticated agriculture, the Olmec also introduced the system of time and date-keeping that became the amazingly accurate and mysterious Mayan Calendar. They started this a thousand years before Alexander the Great was born. The Olmec/Mayan calendar is the only calendar that takes into account polar precession, which both civilizations knew about.
f) The Olmec (and then later the Maya) also invented mathematics that surpassed that of the Greeks and Romans. This extremely sophisticated system was based on 20… not 10 like our system. Combined with their knowledge of zero (0) which did not appear in the West until well over two thousand years later, the Meso-American number system allowed very fast calculations… of very, very large numbers. Something that western math never had an overbearing need to do until after the time of Newton. Nobody knows why the Olmec and Maya, who were the technological equals to the Egyptians, had the need to develop a mathematical system that could calculate astronomical numbers… when nobody else did for 3,000 years.
g) Nobody knows where the people who became the Olmec came from. Nobody knows where the people who became the people who became the Olmec came from either. As a matter of fact, there is not any scientific agreement about how the North and South American continents, and the strip of land between them, became inhabited in the first place in ancient times… No agreement at all…
H) Before we finish counting, the Meso-American and South American mega-monuments and structures may outnumber and out-size all of the other ancient civilizations… on the planet… combined…
h) There really are legends of people called only “The Ancients”… Virtually every civilization on Earth has VERY OLD stories of these beings. They were said to possess strange technology and magic, including the ability to levitate and fly. They were also described as giants who came and went mysteriously.
i) It has been said that… ANY SUFFICIENTLY ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY IS INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM MAGIC… by those not aware of the technology. Imagine a Bic Lighter in the cave man days… Now imagine a car… or a helicopter… or a cattle prod…
j) … The end of the Mayan Calendar is December 21, 2012…
Although the Mayan calendar and legend stretches back over
11,000 years… There is not a date after 12-21-12…

On a high-tech luxury yacht in the Atlantic Ocean, retired Green Beret Colonel Marshall Tomkin and his NASA scientist nephew Luke Tomkin search for signs that a mysterious hole in the magnetic field of the Earth is causing deadly radiation sterility to life in the ocean. The boat is covered with strange black shielding to protect it from Solar radiation in case one of the massive Solar storms that has been ravaging the surface of the Sun lately were to hit. Just as they find the evidence they are looking for, the biggest solar storm ever recorded hits the hole directly over the boat. The water on the surface of the ocean begins to boil like it’s on fire. Everything around them is burning as they have to use the jet powered hydrofoils under the customized yacht to escape the infertility causing Cosmic Solar rays. Now, the hole is growing, and hauling butt straight for the Caribbean… and Miami.
3000 miles away a beautiful young archeologist, Dr. Marissé Sanchez makes the discovery of her lifetime. In a deep hole hidden in an unexplored Yucatan pyramid built by primitive Mayans, she has found an intricately carved crystal plaque covered with several ancient languages and a stylized image of the Sun… Only the Sun has strange tentacles extending from the surface… like an enormous Solar flare. Puzzled by the image and the unknown glyphs from several languages, she calls the only person she knows who can help her decode the mysterious writing on the equally mysterious plate of glass… her old college buddy, Johnston Lionel Farnsworth III. Jay-L (as she affectionately calls him) invented the quantum computer chip and became the 13th wealthiest man in the world overnight. His computer chips made every other computer on the planet instantly obsolete… The next day, he flies Marissé in to see him and uses his computer (which is the most powerful on Earth… even bigger than the crypto-unit he built for the NSA) to analyze the writing on Marissé’s artifact.
But when the computer he calls Helga, begins to translate the glass plaque, both of them are shocked when the first words say… “magnetic field is going to fail”… followed by the phrase “infertility caused by radiation”… Before the day is out, all four will collide in non-stop action and intrigue after they all witness the image of a doomsday nuclear explosion appear like magic on the surface of the strange artifact… which turns out to be made of pure Diamond… Agents of the government find out about the device and fear that Marshall, Luke, Marissé and Jay-L (now hunted fugitives) have the worst terrorist bomb to ever exist… and they’ll stop at nothing to kill them, and get that artifact…
And then suddenly a strange woman, who seems to have the knowledge of God, appears on the artifact and tells them very calmly…
… how to stop the “End-of-the-World” from happening… again…
